This one-day course is suitable for beginners, as well as those who are familiar with the techniques and just want to play for a day.
Adele will introduce you to a selection of materials – papers, inks, tools and blocks.
As time is limited, Adele suggests that you come with a simple drawing or image that you want to interpret as a woodblock print.
We will look at how to simplify an image and distil it down to light and dark – and also consider working in reverse!
Adele will show you how to carve and print from a block that you have designed. The aim being that you go home with at least a couple of your own original prints.
