Summer Solstice Foraging and Woodland Dining Feast

Join us on this very special Summer Solstice weekend for a unique midsummer feast over fire and nature connection experience.

Starting with a cup of coffee and cake welcomed by our culinary team amidst the green beech leaves, you will then be joined by one of our amazing herbalists and forest school leaders on an introductory foraging walk across the woodland grounds. They will share their knowledge about foraging, the relevance and gift of why we celebrate Midsummer followed by an inspiring talk about the future of our forests.

We will then meet you all back at the Cookhouse for a wild feast over fire.

Chef Nina Green and her fantastic team offer an authentic fine dining experience that reflects the particular season amidst bountiful flora, fauna and bird song. Primacy is given to local produce, and everything possible is done to limit our environmental impact using high-quality, organic ingredients with as much from the wild as possible, all cooked on sustainable oak and chestnut wood.

The ticket price is £95 per person and includes arrival coffee and cake, an introductory foraging workshop across the beautiful site of Wilderness Wood and a nature connection talk, rounded up by a wild multi course feast over fire.

Additional drinks are not included in this price.

Timing 4-9pm (Due to the group nature of this event, we would appreciate your punctuality).

Visit Nina’s website to book your place.

Please note - foraging is not allowed in Wilderness Wood outside of these organised events.
