Green Woodworking for Adults and Families - 23rd June

Whittle a spoon, make a bird box - the only limit is your imagination!

Suitable for adults and accompanied children.

These small group, outdoor workshops offer the opportunity to experience the joy of working with green wood through your own exploration and creativity, regardless of age and ability. You can decide what to make and Kent will help and guide you along the way. This could be making a spoon or simply just a whittled stick… It’s up to you.

Although these workshops are open to all ages, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult, and younger children might need to work with a parent if not capable of working independently themselves.

The day will start at 10am and finish around 4pm – with a break for lunch. You can bring a packed lunch to eat at the picnic tables and you can purchase hot drinks and home-made cake from The Hatch.

The cost for the day is £30 per person, or if a parent and child are working together on the same project the cost is £40 for the day. Payment on booking is essential.
