Join the Wilderness Wood team and members for the first Stewardship Saturday of 2025 to get involved with the stewardship and improvement of the woodland. All ages welcome.

We meet at 10am in The Cook House and allocate jobs according to skills and interests.

We will have lunch together in the Cookhouse at 1pm. Bring a packed lunch and we’ll cook a big pot of vegetarian soup to share. Please bring gloves and boots and relevant tools if you have them.

After lunch at 2pm, Timothy Cornish, local historian and author, will give a talk on: ‘Woodland Life in the Weald – A Thousand Years Ago!’
