Discover traditional silversmithing techniques as you design, form, solder and finish your own bespoke silver ring.
Benefitting from Jemima’s decades of experience you will learn all of the techniques needed to create a custom piece of jewellery, personalised with your choice of texture or polish.
Please note that there is an additional material charge for the silver used on the day. With ever rising silver prices, each piece is weighed and the individual price calculated to allow for the difference in size and material dimensions. Please expect to use around £7 - £15 worth of silver. Don't worry, I have a card machine on site!
This course is for adults and young people aged 12 +. Under 18's must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Bring your favourite snacks, I'll provide tea.
Please remember that this is a workshop environment, so make sure to wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit grubby and suitable closed toe shoes. I will provide all necessary PPE. Don't forget your glasses if you need them for up close work!
It will be dark when you arrive, so please bring a torch. Jemima will meet you by The Hatch to show you safely to the workshop.
