Discover some of Sussex’s fascinating folk beliefs about witches, trees and the wild things around us, then head out to gather natural materials for your very own besom (witch’s broom) to take home.

Decorate it with colourful ribbons, string, beads and feathers, and tuck a tiny wish scroll into the bristles. There’ll also be natural ingredients to mix up your own wonderfully mysterious berry and botanical potions!
