Christmas Trees and Winter Fayre

Beautiful locally grown trees of different species and sizes available to choose from in the festive courtyard.

Soak up the atmosphere with chestnuts and mulled apple juice and cider over the fire; music and craft demos and:

  • woodfired pizzas from 11.30am to 5pm, made and served by Cashew Catering

  • barista coffee and hot chocolate from Sussex Coffee Trucks

  • local bubbly from Beacon Down Vineyard

  • live folk music with Dan Banjo and friends between 3pm and 5pm

  • make your own christmas decoration and wooden reindeer

  • Oscypek - traditional polish cheese cooked over the fire with Lara and Roy

  • Browse and buy beautiful gifts and decorations by local artists and makers.

If you are buying or collecting a Christmas Tree, admission is free of charge - if you are not coming for a christmas tree, please pay admission at The Hatch on arrival. £4 per person or £15 for a family/group arriving in one car.

9am to 10am is the early bird slot - come in and grab a tree and a hot-chocolate while we put the finishing touches to the stalls for the day.

The woods are not open for walks today.
