Ethical Taxidermy workshop for adults with Teresa Walsh
The class takes students (age 18+) through Mole taxidermy – from corpse to ornament.
You will be introduced to the process and techniques behind basic taxidermy by learning how to skin, prep, preserve and mount your Mole. Choose to pose your mole in a naturalistic setting or be introduced to the art of anthropomorphism by giving your Mole glasses, hats or other human characteristics.
The workshop runs from 10.30am-4pm and costs £65.
Bring a picnic lunch or you can visit Wilderness Café for food and hot drinks.
Your teacher, Teresa Walsh is a member of the U.K. Guild of Taxidermy. All rodents are ethically sourced and were not killed specifically for these workshops,no dangerous chemicals will be used and all animals are disease free.
